DEMO VIDEO — How a sample audit's Top 10 fix list works

DEMO / SAMPLE — not client work, not real results. A walkthrough of a SAMPLE audit's fix list, ordered by impact. Fictional business, format only — not a real client's site or results.

View the full redacted SAMPLE audit — format only, not a real client's site
SAMPLE · REDACTED · FICTIONAL BUSINESS

This is a sample audit of a fictional business, created to show the AuditLabHQ report format. Every business detail below is invented for demonstration only. It is not a real client's site, and no finding here describes a real business.

Business (fictional): [REDACTED] · URL (fictional): [REDACTED] · Audit type: Standard Audit (sample format) · Date of sample: October 2026

Summary (sample)

The fictional business in this sample is a 6-person local service firm. Its site is clean and readable, but it makes it harder than it should be for a visitor to get in touch, and its Google Business Profile is half-finished. The fixes below are ordered by impact, not by category.

Top 10 Fix List (sample — complete)

Fix first:

  1. Put the phone number and a “Call now” button at the top of every page on mobile — currently a mobile visitor must scroll to find it. [Note: this sample finding is fictional format text; AuditLabHQ's own contact on this page is by email only.]
  2. Add business hours and the full service list to the Google Business Profile — both are blank in this sample.
  3. Fix the homepage headline: it currently says “Welcome to our website.” Replace it with the service + area (e.g. “Plumbing repair in [Town] — same-day callouts”).
  4. Add a contact form confirmation message — the sample form submits with no confirmation, so visitors cannot tell whether it worked.

Fix next:

  1. Give every service page a unique page title — three sample pages share the same title.
  2. Compress the three largest homepage images — they account for most of the sample homepage's load time.
  3. Add one photo of a real job and one of the team van to the Google Business Profile — the sample profile has no photos.
  4. Add internal links from the homepage to the three main service pages.

Ignore for now:

  1. The blog has two short posts from last year. Leave it — it is not costing calls.
  2. Minor duplicate meta descriptions on two low-traffic pages. Fix only if editing those pages anyway.

1. Technical SEO (sample)

  • Crawl: no errors found in this fictional sample.
  • Broken links: none found in this fictional sample (every claimed broken link in a real audit is hand-verified before it ships).
  • Indexation: homepage and service pages present; no action needed in this sample.

2. On-page SEO (sample)

  • Titles: three service pages share one title (see Fix 5).
  • Headings: homepage uses one H1; service pages are consistent.
  • Thin content: the drain-cleaning page is under 150 words in this sample — expand it with services covered, process, and service area.

3. Local SEO / Google Business Profile (sample)

  • Profile exists, categories correct, but hours, services, and photos are missing (see Fixes 2 and 7).
  • No Q&A section filled in. Add the three questions customers ask most.

4. Speed + mobile (sample)

  • Homepage loads slowly on a simulated mobile connection because of three large images (see Fix 6).
  • Text is readable on mobile; buttons are large enough to tap. The missing above-the-fold phone number is the main mobile issue in this fictional sample (see Fix 1).

5. Conversion (sample)

  • Headline does not state the service or area (see Fix 3).
  • One call to action per page, but placed below the fold on mobile.
  • Trust signals: no reviews shown on the site, no licence number displayed. Add both if applicable to the real business.

What this audit is NOT (sample)

This sample does not promise rankings, traffic, or calls. A real audit reports only what is verifiably found on the client's live site at audit time, with screenshots, and never invents traffic figures, broken links, or competitor data.

End of sample. The sample format above carries no health-score figure: the sections, the Top 10 list, and the written fixes are the deliverable described on this page.

How it works

  1. 1
Pay and send your URL. Choose Standard ($249), Quick ($149), or Deep ($549).
  2. 2
AuditLabHQ checks your site. Crawl, speed, mobile, content, local profile, and conversion — with screenshots. The audit uses only your public site and public tools.
  3. 3
You get the PDF. A Top 10 fix list tells you what to fix first, what to fix next, and what to ignore for now.

Standard is the default. Quick is the short version; Deep is the full crawl. A re-check 30 days later, same site, is $99. Rush is +50% for 48-hour delivery where available.

Every tier is audit-only: no tier includes implementation, and no tier includes an ongoing SEO retainer. What you get (Standard)

A 15–25 page PDF in plain language: technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO / Google Business Profile, speed + mobile, conversion — plus screenshots and the Top 10 fix list.

Laptop showing a website audit checklist and speed results, notebook with a handwritten fix list beside it
The audit desk: crawl, speed, mobile, and conversion checks — every claimed finding hand-verified before it ships.
Phone and laptop side by side showing the same website on mobile and desktop
Mobile first: the same pages checked on a phone and on desktop, because most local visitors arrive on mobile.
Close-up of annotated audit screenshots on screen with a red pen on printed pages
Process shot: findings marked up page by page, then ordered by impact — not by category.

How the Top 10 fix list is ordered

By impact, not by category. The structure below is from the labelled SAMPLE audit of a fictional business — it shows the format, not a real client's site. No traffic figures, broken links, or competitor data are ever invented in a real audit; a real audit reports only what is verifiably found on the client's live site at audit time, with screenshots.

Fix first — the things costing enquiries now. In the sample: the contact route buried below the fold on mobile, a half-finished Google Business Profile (hours and services blank), and a homepage headline that does not state the service or area.

Fix next — the things that compound. In the sample: duplicate page titles, oversized homepage images slowing the mobile load, missing profile photos, and missing internal links to the main service pages.

Ignore for now — the things that look like problems but are not costing anything. In the sample: two short old blog posts, and minor duplicate meta descriptions on low-traffic pages — fix only if editing those pages anyway.

What you do NOT get

Implementation. AuditLabHQ does not edit your live site. No ranking, traffic, or revenue guarantee. No ongoing SEO retainer is sold here. If you want fixes done, take the Top 10 list to your web person — it is written so they can act on it directly.

Refund / cancel terms

Full refund if work has not started. Once work has started, refunds are case by case: under $50 automatic, $50+ escalated to the owner. A non-loading or incorrect URL gets one request for a correction; if none arrives within 7 days, the order is cancelled and refunded minus a $49 admin hold.

Who this is for

Owner-operated local service businesses — plumbers, HVAC, roofers, electricians, dentists, chiropractors, small law firms, landscapers, remodelers — with a live website and a Google Business Profile but no in-house marketer. Also suitable for coaches, course sellers, and creators with a landing page that is not converting.

Who this is NOT for

E-commerce sites over 250 pages, enterprise sites, businesses with no website at all, and anyone who wants guaranteed rankings. If that is what you need, this is not the right service.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to get on a call?

No. Everything is by email.

Do you need access to my website?

No. The audit uses only your public site and public tools.

Will this get me to page one?

No one honest can promise that, and AuditLabHQ does not. You get a diagnosis and a prioritised fix list.

What if a finding is wrong?

Tell AuditLabHQ within 7 days and it will be corrected or removed — one factual-correction round is included.

What if my site is bigger than 50 pages?

Order Deep (up to 250 pages) or ask before ordering.

After you order

You choose a tier and pay upfront, then send just your website URL — plus your Google Business Profile link if you have one. That is all that is needed to start: no calls, no passwords, and no backend access. The optional intake questions (business type, town or service area, up to 3 local competitors you track, and the one thing you most want the audit to answer) only help prioritise the report. You receive the PDF by email within the stated turnaround — Standard and Quick within 3 business days of payment, Deep within 5. If a delivery date cannot be met, you are told before the deadline, not after it. After delivery, one factual-correction round is included within 7 days, and an optional re-check of the same site is available 30 days later for $99.

A human audit vs an automated tool — what the human adds

Automated audit tools are software you run yourself: they crawl a site and return scores and lists of flagged issues. That is a different product from this one, and the two are not priced or judged the same way. What a human audit adds, in this service's own terms:

More questions, answered from the order terms

What exactly do I need to send?

Just your website URL, plus your Google Business Profile link if you have one. Everything else on the intake form is optional. Never send a password — none is needed or wanted.

How is the audit delivered?

As a PDF by email: 15–25 pages for Standard, 8–12 pages for Quick, and for Deep a PDF plus a 30-minute screen-recorded walkthrough. Standard and Quick arrive within 3 business days of payment; Deep within 5 business days.

What if my URL does not load?

AuditLabHQ will ask once for a corrected URL. If none arrives within 7 days, the order is cancelled and refunded minus a $49 admin hold.

Does AuditLabHQ fix the problems it finds?

No. This is an audit-only service: AuditLabHQ does not edit your live site, and no ongoing SEO retainer is sold here. The Top 10 fix list is written so your own web person can act on it directly.

What does the re-check do?

For $99, the same site is re-checked 30 days after the original audit, reporting which fixes were applied and what remains.

Can I get it faster?

Rush delivery is +50% for 48-hour delivery on Standard and Quick audits, where available at order.

Price calculator

All prices below are the prices listed on this page. Rush is +50% for 48-hour delivery where available; a re-check 30 days later, same site, is $99.

Total: $249

Formula: total = tier price + (50% of tier price if Rush is checked) + ($99 if Re-check is checked). The Standard intro price of $149 for the first 5 orders is not applied here — ask by email whether it is still available.
